Trať dlhá 850 metrov vedie úzkymi ulicami španielskeho mesta Pamplona. Každoročne sa tejto adrenalínovej oslavy sviatku svätého Fermína zúčastnia tisíce šialencov z celého sveta. Odkedy sa začali v roku 1924 viesť písomné záznamy, zomrelo počas behu 15 ľudí. Väčšinu nabral na rohy býk.

T radícia osláv siaha až do roku 1591. Trasa vedie z býčej ohrady do mestskej býčej arény. Beh trvá iba niekoľko minút a koridor, ktorým sa preháňajú býky je prísne vymedzený. Aj napriek tomu končia tieto „naháňačky“ vážnymi zraneniami. Priemerne sa denne do behu zapojí 2000 bežcov pričom 200 až 300 sa z nich zraní. Deväťdňové pouličné oslavy sviatku miestneho katolíckeho svätca Fermína, ktorý žil v 3. storočí, zvečnil vo svojom románe z roku 1926 Slnko aj vychádza Ernest Hemingway.
